Dr. Danielle (also known as “Dr. Dani” by her patients) is very proud to be leading a team of dedicated dentists and team members alongside her father, Dr. Joel Scheir, here in Rockland County. The dental office has been inspiring smiles for over 30 years now, with hopefully many more to come! She loves being able to change someone’s life with the power of dentistry and finds it so gratifying to convert a fearful patient into someone who genuinely loves visiting the dental office.

Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Dani always knew that she wanted to help people. While Dr. Joel stayed out of her decision-making process, he was fully supportive when she expressed an interest in the dental field. She was able to shadow him closely and see the work firsthand. It was a great introduction, and it helped her maintain plenty of perspective throughout the dental school process. Today, this career still provides her with the perfect combination of her two passions: science and art!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After studying at Cornell University, Dr. Dani pursued her dental doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She also attended a dental residency at Montefiore Hospital that included extra training in pediatrics and oral surgery. Today, she is Invisalign-certified and is also currently attending a fellowship about dental implants to further expand her clinical skillset. She is a current member of both the American Dental Association and New York Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Dani is married to her husband Matt, who is a high school math teacher, and they have two young daughters named Sage and Skylar. When she isn’t busy caring for teeth, you can often find her cooking, traveling to new places, hiking, staying active, learning new sports, or simply hanging out with her loved ones.
